Centrifugal Slicer
This versatile machine uniformly slices, strip-cuts and shreds a
wide variety of food products. It features interchangeable cutting
heads, enabling the processor to change the type of cut in just
minutes. Specially designed throw-away knives do not require sharpening
and are inexpensive to replace. The FAM FV-2D has a simplified design
for easy cleanup and maintenance.
Applications: potato chips, carrots, root
celery, onions, tomatoes, almonds, beetroot, mushrooms, radishes,
garlic, beans
Cut Size:
- Flat or crinkle cut slices (0,8 up to 3 mm; 1/32-1/8")
with standard impeller wheel.
Parts are available for cutting thicker slices.
- 1,6 mm (1/16") and 2,8 mm (7/64") V-cut shreds:
This type of strips are diamond in shape and are
respectively 1,6 mm or 2,8 mm on all sides
- Julienne-strips 2,4 x 2,4 mm (3/32 x 3/32") and 4,8
x 4,8 mm (3/16 x 3/16") : These strips are
square in shape.
Capacity: between 1,600 and 5,000 kg/hour
