Quality control for high – quality products

System advantages :

  • Small space requirement for easy integration into existing lines
  • High flexibility due to modular construction
  • Long – team storage of important production data
  • Fast , menu – assisted bottle change-over
  • Teleservice via modem

By inspecting not only empty bottles but also bottles that have already been filled, it is possible to introduce an additional means of quality assurance on the production line, and thus ensure maximum reliability. The Linatronic 712-FBI (Full Bottle Inspector) is based on the well – proven 712-M2 model and combines state-of-the-art camera technology, precise process control , and variable application with easy , straightforward operation. The IRIS system (Improved Resolution Inspection System) employed on this machine complies with the latest technological advances and provides the very best inspection results.

With the Linatronic 712-FBI, foreign matter can be detected that has contaminated the bottle during filling, e,g, glass fragments from broken bottles in the filler, or particles from faulty filtration. Both cylindrical and special shaped container can be inspected with this system .

A fill level and container closure inspection is also integrated into the machine.

Principle of operation

1-4 Detection of lying foreign matter

5 Detection of lying foreign matter (light-field)

6 Detection of lying foreign matter (dark-field)

7 Detection of floating foreign matter

8 Fill level and closure inspection

9 Recognition of the closure design

10 Blow – off station

This arrangement can be changed or equipment with additional inspection units, depending on the customer's requirements.

The filled bottles enter the machine , pass the first inspection module, and are then gripped by a pair of synchronous belts. They are removed from the conveyor belt and guided through the machine ‘ s interior where different inspection modules are installed. Distance and height of the low – wear guide belts can be adjusted to adapt them to containers of different heights and contours. Cylindrical bottles can be rotated through an angle of about 90 0 by the guide belts.

A vacuum and blow – off system removers foam and lubricating agent residues that might adhere to the base of the bottles from the comveyor. The system is designed to extract the blown off residues with out re-contaminating the already cleaned bottles. Additional blowing nozzles positioned above the protective glass panes of the inspection units 5 and 6 ensure perfect detection results.

Having passed through the inspection machine, the bottles are transferred to a conveyor belt that carries them through a further inspection unit. In the discharge area, faulty bottles can be rejected via a pusher or a linear rejection unit.
