Lubrication

Flottweg

1. Central Lubrication System

All main lubrication points are permanently connected via tubing or hoses to a central grease pump. The lubricant is dispensed proportionally through a special piston distributor. The scroll bearings are sealed and lubricated for life but can also be regressed manually.

2. Manual Lubrication

In standard execution, all Flottweg centrifuges are provided with a manually-operated central grease pump.

3. Automatic Lubrication

An automatic greasing system guarantees uniform and reliable lubrication for the centrifuge. If prevents bearings from being under or over-lubricated and rules out short time spikes in bearing temperatures and excessive grease consumption. The motor driven grease pump with reservoir is monitored for proper function.

For special applications, as air-operated oil mist lubrication system can be supplied.

Wear Protection

Flottweg offers a wide range of wear protection measures to meet the requirements of the many different applications in which centrifuges are installed.
