Basic Design
Indirect tubular system (STH) The system consists of the following
main components:
- Balance tank
- Positive feed pump
- Tubular heat exchanger
- Homogenizer
- Control panel

Optional features
Direct infusion system (SDH) The well known infusion technology
allows for sterilization with a absolute minimum of chemical degrada
tions.
High Heat Infusion system (SHH) In addition to above STH and SDH
systems, the High Heat Infusion combines the two standard systems
into an innovative state of the art UHT processing system.

The new concept offers many advantages compared to traditional
UHT technologies such as: extremely high kill rate, improved heat
recovery, efficient deaeration prior to sterilization and long running
times.
Instant Infusion (SII) The most advanced pilot system, enabling
pilot testing with the latest APV UHT development for heavy
fouling products, such as whey protein concentrates, liquid egg
and processed cheese.

Further Available Options
All the following option can be included in the systems above:

Indirect plate UHT system instead of the standard tubular UHT
system.
